Nancy Wong
Nancy Wong is a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, College Park. In addition to her role as a research assistant, Nancy works as a Lead Facilitator and Qualitative Analyst for Rankin Climate LLC, which facilitates campus climate assessments for higher education institutions.
Nancy brings experience working on issues related to higher education access and equity. She was a Senior Research Associate at the Institute for College Access and Success in DC, where she conducted analyses related to college access, affordability, and equity in higher education to advance federal and state policy. She co-led the Project on Student Debt including the publication of the annual Student Debt Report and maintenance of the College Insight transparency tool.
Before this role, she was a Program Coordinator for WashU at Brookings, where she facilitated leadership and public policy programs for federal government agency employees. She has also worked as a Program Coordinator in the Center for Leadership and Social Change at Florida State University. Her work included leading multicultural leadership programs and teaching leadership development to undergraduate students.
Nancy received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Connecticut. She is currently a doctoral student at the University of Maryland, College Park in the Higher Education, Student Affairs, and International Education Policy program.
